Miss Peanut got her package!

Although I couldn't give much, I wanted to do something for a senior dog (other than my own) this holiday season. We found "Jasmine," a 10-12 yr old female dachshund, being fostered in Mississippi by the Simpson family and the All American Dachshund Rescue. (see entry below)

After getting in contact with "Jasmine's" foster family, we found out that she had acquired the name Peanut during her seven month stay (foster mother said she was too spunky to be a "Jasmine"), got their address, and (eventually) sent a care package of treats. (See our package taste testers!)

Today I got an email from "Miss Peanut's" foster family saying they got the package and loved it. They also sent photos of Miss Peanut eating the homemade sweet potato treats, which I love:

Adorable.
